Tail-Lift Freight Delivery Queensland
Delivery Where There's No Forklift or Dock
Tail-lift delivery may suit businesses or delivery locations without forklift access. A hydraulic platform lowers palletised or heavy freight from the truck to ground level, which makes deliveries possible at shopfronts, small tenancies and sites that were never built around a loading dock.
Where Tail-Lift Delivery Helps
Retail shopfronts, hospitality venues, small workshops, offices, strata sites and remote yards where mechanical unloading is unavailable.
What We Need to Confirm
Site conditions decide whether a tail-lift delivery is practical:
- Is there forklift access?
- Is there loading dock access?
- Is the freight palletised?
- What is the weight of the heaviest item?
- How is site access — driveway width, height limits, parking?
- Is the address residential or commercial?
- Ground conditions — sealed, gravel, sloped or soft?
- Any restricted access such as gates, bollards or time windows?
Practical Limits
Tail-lifts have weight and footprint limits, and the platform needs firm, reasonably level ground to operate safely. Where conditions do not suit, we will tell you before booking rather than on the day.
- Tail-lift availability depends on vehicle allocation, freight dimensions, weight and site conditions. Requirements are confirmed before pickup.
